Eco Sapien is an educational YouTube channel focusing on the importance of biodiversity. Its content is split into different segments from how-to videos such as making a bird feeder from a plastic bottle, to big question deep-dives like exploring the impact of trophic cascades on an ecosystem. The project needed a strong brand to create impact, connect with its viewers, better distinguish its content, and promote itself across social platforms.

The logo is built from the letter ‘e’ modified to resemble an abstract profile of different animals, while also including a basic representation of a person - the other half of Eco Sapien - in the negative space. When placed within an organic shape, the framing also creates the impression of seeing the human figure within a ‘screen’.
